Students' Press

The Students' Press is a newspaper for the students, from the students. This paper is run completely by 8th grade students here at West Pine Middle School. This newspaper was started by Ellie Chandler and Audrey Ledford last year. We started it so the students could share their opinion and be creative. Also, as a way to get the students to be more excited about West Pine events and happenings. We are open to any new ideas that would be fun to feature! We are already thinking of featuring short stories, advice columns, debate columns, surveys, political entertainment, photoshops, school happenings, current events, videos, fanfiction, interesting facts, popular articles, shoutouts, skits, and students being creative! Even though the students press is run by eighth graders, we would like to have younger students join too! We are taking 6th and 7th grade interns.
