Recipe of the Month- November

Pumpkin Pie

  1. Collect Ingredients

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 ¾ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 (15 oz.) can 100% pure pumpkin

  • 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk

  • 1 unbaked (9”) deep dish pie shell

Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit

Mix sugar, salt, and pumpkin pie spice in a small bowl. Beat eggs in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk

Pour into pie shell

Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours.

Serve immediately or refrigerate. Garnish with whip-cream.
